HP 87A toner troubleshooting

Problem	Fix
Printer says cartridge not recognised	Take it out, wipe the gold chip with a dry cloth, slide it back until it clicks. Still showing? Switch the printer off at the wall for 30 seconds.
Pages print faded or streaky	Rock the cartridge side to side five times to spread the toner. Check the orange sealing tab came out fully.
Toner smudging on the page	Run a few blank sheets through. If it continues the fuser needs cleaning, so message us.
Printing stops early	You are near 9,000 pages. Fading at the end of life is normal.
